The village of Arraiolos is known for the typical hand-embroidered rugs and the unusual circular castle of the 14th century. In its beautiful Historic Center you can find Craft shops and impressive churches with tiles from the 16th century. Unmissable
Monte da Ravasqueira is the result of the dream of D. Manuel de Mello in creating a family paradise in the heart of the Alentejo. Since 1943 Ravasqueira has been producing the best wines, olive oil, cork and cattle. It currently has a magnificent carriage museum honoring the Lusitano Horse and its wine tastings are unmatchable.
